Redeemer Central Church
An addressable fire detection system and IP CCTV for a much-loved Belfast church venue, backed by ongoing servicing.
Client brief
The brief
Redeemer Central is a busy Belfast church and events venue welcoming large numbers of people throughout the week. The brief was for a fire detection system that gives early, precise warning across the whole building, together with camera cover for the site — both installed neatly and sympathetically within the venue.
With the building in near-constant use, the church also wanted one accredited company keeping the fire alarm, extinguishers and emergency lighting serviced and certified.
Deliverables
What we delivered
GDC designed and installed an addressable fire detection system, giving pinpoint identification of any activation across the venue, alongside an IP CCTV system covering the building.
Both systems were commissioned, certified and fully documented. GDC now hold the ongoing service contract for the fire alarm, portable fire extinguishers and emergency lighting, so the whole life-safety provision sits with one provider.
